Formed by Paul O’Mahoney and Vicent Lyons, both of previously in Berserk and Ger Henessy. Padraig Murphy joined the band after seeing a wanted ad on a local college wall.
Orpheus recorded a demo tape which was played by Dave Fanning rock show.
With the addition of Mick O’Brien again previously with Berserk. They changed name to Vice Versa. This quickly changed to Factor Fiction.
Orpheus played a concert at Sir Henry’s promoting local Cork bands. Also on the bill were, Hot Guitars, The Kidz, Small Change, Constant Reminders and Nun Attax.
