A Terre formed in late 1980 or early ’81, playing their first gig in February ’81. Finbarr was a member of the Workers Party and many of the bands gigs took place at this venue. They also regularly supported The Low in the Ivy Rooms.

Record A Demo Tape

They recorded a demo tape tape in 1982, this was reviewed in “VOX” fanzine. According to the review the tape was poorly recorded and the style was “mood Poetry music”. The tracks were, Sam’s Cross, The Chain & The Rope, Our Loss At Beal Na Blath, Leaves For Burning, Entering Free Derry, On Our Knees & Release Her.
