Alice In Wonderland recorded a demo tape at the new studio in Robert’s Cove. At this time I have no details on the tracks recorded. Their set is 100% original material with each member contributing songs.
They took part in the Simon Community charity concert at Sir Henry’s raising over £1,500. Other bands taking part were Philip King, Cargo Cult, Jimmy McCarthy.
Hidden Fears
In 1985 they band changed their name to Hidden Fears. Philip had formerly been in Nun Attax. Hidden Fears were far more successful. Touring Ireland. Recording a Dave Fanning session. Releasing a single Mirage/Robotic Man on their own record label, Shift Records. The single was produce by ex Horslips keyboard player Jim Lockhart. and appearing on “Visual Eyes” TV programme. They also played to 30,000 fans at the Lee Fields Carling Black Label open air concert when Chris De Burgh made a surprise appearance.
Making Money
Hidden Fears spent £2,000 on a rig and P.A. This turned out to be very good investment. As when the band were not using it they hired it out to other bands. Making money even when they were not working themselves. Their set was 100% original material with each member of the band contributing songs.
