Screen Test on RTE

Pyramid made their first TV appearance in February 1985 on RTE’s Screen Test. Over 800 bands sent in demo tapes, with only 42 making it on to the RTE stage. Their live set consisted of mainly original material written by the band.

Line Up Changes

Ger Helion was the original lead guitarist with the band, he left the band in 1984 due to other commitments. In July 1987 Pyramid get a new drummer John Tynan.
