Fantasy Garden came 2nd in the Carling Hot Press 1990 competition with Carrlines the winners. They won the first heat held at Sir Henry’s in Cork. A Beatles influenced trio from Finglas in Dublin. They recorded a Dave Fanning session in 1990, but at this time the tracks recorded are not known.
In 1989 Fantasy Garden played a residencies at the Baggot Inn with Scale The Heights. In 1991 they toured Ireland as support to the Power Of Dreams.

Fantasy were the first heat winners of the 1990 Carling /Hot Press competition at Sir Henry’s in Cork,.
The competition is held at Sir Henry’s, in Cork over 5 weeks. With the winner each week going on to the final.
