Fantasy Garden came 2nd in the Carling Hot Press 1990 competition with Carrlines the winners. They won the first heat hed at Sir Henry’s in CorkA Beatles influenced trio from Finglas in Dublin. They recorded a Dave Fanning session in 1990, but at this time the tracks recorded are not known.

In 1989 Fantasy Garden played a residencies at the Baggot Inn with Scale The Heights. In 1991 they toured Ireland as support to the Power Of Dreams.
