Originally a trio called Bad Form, this line up lasted for approximately 1 year. With the addition of Johnny on vocals they became Hyker and developed their own style In 1981 Hyker appeared on RTE’s “Younglines” performing their own song “For You”. In May that same year they released a double a side single The Way Out/Going For Broke on Sparton Records. Only 500 copies were pressed.
90% of their set is original material, they do play a few covers from Judas Priest & Whitesnake. Their live show was reported as being very good, with laser lights and smoke bombs.
