Joe Murphy (guitar) & Ken Murphy (drums) were previously in a heavy Rock band from Dublin called Raw Deal, back in the late 70’s Raw Deal were probably the only Heavy Metal band with a female singer.

Second Single
“As Peter Simpson moved on in late 1990. The follow up single didn’t do anything as it was only released on cassette. Carlton pressing plant had closed and the record company wasn’t interested in releasing in on CD. We put it out ourselves. Anyway, the Murphy lads and myself moved on with Kevin on Keyboards taking over vocal duties. A name change to The Lesser Gods and a new more grunge style following the whole Seattle scene. We were down in Sir Henry’s the night Nirvana supported Sonic Youth so the following that we thought we’d found a new niche. That didn’t last too long either”. Declan Milligan
