I have spent many hours trawling the Irish Newspaper Archive, The Dublin Library and talking to those that were there, too make this the most complete document of U2’s early career. U2 were due to be on the bill with Horslips. After Paul McGuinness sued Heat fanzine, U2 were kicked off the Bill. Eamon Carr of Horslips is the brother of Jude Carr the editor of “Heat”.
