Bent Fairy & The Punkettes

Early 70’s Irish “Glam Rock” band, Bent Fairy & The Punkettes, all members would later feature heavily in the Irish punk scene. All three were part of the early line up of the Radiators From Space, before Billy Morley left to form Revolver, he would later rejoin the Radiators, after they dropped the “From Space” part of their name. Stephen Averill was very influential in the career of U2 as well as being in the Modernaires, SM Corporation & today plays with The Trouble Pilgrims along with Pete Holidai.

Peter Hamilton would later be in The Moderies & The Peridots. Billy Morley would later be in Revolver, The Radiators & Lucky Bones Dave McAdam would later be in a early Radiators from Space line up.

The band only played out once at Mount Joy School, both Steve & Peter went to school there. Mount Joy later changed its name to Mount Temple.
