Coca Cola S’kool Band contest 1991.
In 1991Grin made it through to the final of the Coca Cola S’kool contest. The final was held in McGonagle’s, Dublin. With young bands from all over Ireland playing. The line up was first Jeremiah Jones from Donegal, next were The Tempted from Cork, then Perfect Blue from Dublin, followed by Major Haze. They were followed by the winners from Dublin Alewishus Phontains, My Little Fun House Kilkenny, Grin from Waterford, Savage Fairies from Youghal. The guest band on the night was the D11 Runners from Dublin.
The Bridge
Grin would often play as the support band for bands such as The Prayer Boat & Something Happens! coming down from Dublin. at the Bridge House, in Dungarvan, Waterford.
