A 4 track demo was recorded by the band at the Xeric Studio’s in Limerick in 1989. The first track was “Free Falling”
The Reindeer Age album, was recorded at the Xeric Studio in Limerick in 1989. This compilation album featured fellow Limerick Bands, The Hitchers, The O’Malley’s, Up The Downstairs, Tuesday Blue, They Do It With Mirrors, Private World, The Drive, The Separators, Toucandance, Perfect Moment, Utopian Puppets, The Surrealists, X-It, Big John’s Bootleggin Band. The cassette version featured two extra tracks by Preachers Story & Mike O’Mahony.

In 1991 A Touch of Oliver played a support slot to Irish Folk singer Luka Bloom at Arthurs Warehouse in Limerick.
A Touch Of Oliver were on the bill when the Cranberries played The Theatre Royal In Limerick in December 1991, also on the bill that night were The Charming and The Hitchers. This was the first time that the Cranberried had posters & tickets printed for one of their gigs.
In early 1993 Diarmuid O’Sullivan went solo.
