Formed by the Wall brothers Steve & Joe in 1987, Steve and Cormac had formerly worked together in a another Galway band called New Testament.

In July 1990 The Stunning became the first Irish band to have an album (Paradise in the Picturehouse on Solid Records) released on a Irish Independent label and reach the number one spot in the Irish charts.

Robert Quinn of bray filmed the video for The Stunning record of “Heads” which reach number 5 in the Irish charts.
