Up the Downstairs played the Baggot Inn in Dublin as part of a three band Limerick showcase in August 1989, along with They Do It with Mirrors and Private World.
Reindeer Age
The Reindeer Age album, was recorded at the Xeric Studio in Limerick in 1989. This compilation album featured fellow Limerick Bands, The Hitchers, The O’Malley’s A Touch Of Oliver, Up The Downstairs, Tuesday Blue, They Do It With Mirrors, Private World, The Drive, The Separators, Toucandance, Perfect Moment, Utopian Puppets, The Surrealists, X-It, Big John’s Bootleggin Band. The cassette version featured two extra tracks by Preachers Story & Mike O’Mahony.

John Lennon Tribute
On the 9th anniversary of his death, some members of some of Limericks top bands got together for special concert, featuring only songs that John Lennon wrote. Members of Perfect Moments, Toucandace, Private World, The Groove, The Hitchers, Up The Downstairs, Wow.
