They released a single titled “Lies” with the B-side “On My Own” under Bus Records in 1986. The “B” side On My Own, is the much better track, featuring the fast paced guitar work of Conor Goff. The Fast Boys evolved from a previous band called G Squad and were known for their energetic power-pop sound.

Conor Goff had previously been in Pulling Faces and G Squad, he would later be in Conor Goff & The Crash, Dignam & Goff. Dave Moloney had previously played with the Boomtown Rats, The Vipers, Rhythm Kings, Wilf Bros, Cajun Kings and later the Johnny Logan Band.
