The original line up of the band included ex Jimi Hendrix Experience bassist Noel Redding. West Cork Band were the headliners at the Macroom “Happening ’79” This was a series of Jam sessions that took place at Hooded Cloak in Macroom every Wednesday night. Each session feature the West Cork Band with different guest’s each week.
