The band played most of their gigs in and around the Howth area of Dublin. Most of these gigs were as the support band. The band would split in ’79 when Ray Hartford & Paul Angers formed the Fast Skirts. Ray would also later play with Assembley.

I believe that the band may have supported U2 & the Virgin Prunes at the Howth community Centre.

The Blackouts had a residency at the Parliament Inn during May & June 1979. They also played the Dandelion Market on 14/07/1979.
