A Rose For Emily entered the Carling/Hot Press Battle Of The Bands contest in 1991 held at Sir Henry’s in Cork. They were in Heat 3, although they did not progress, Hot Press would later predict they would be the band of 1992. My Little Fun House were the winner this year.
