Static Routines played the now famous Dandelion Market in Dublin on 30/09/1979. Along with another Dundalk band The Scheme.
They released a single on the Good Vibrations label, Rock ‘n’ Roll Clones/ Sheet Music GVI GOT3. Good Vibrations Records released an incredible 16 singles in 18 months. Strangely enough the two worst were selling singles were those by the two Southern bands Static Routines & Strange Movements.

In September/October 1979 they had a Sunday night residency with New Version
