Pink Hurts played mainly in the Skerries\/Drogheda are just outside Dublin. They occasionally played the Underground & Tommy’s Cavan in Dublin. 3 of the 4 members of the band were related Brian, Lillian & Derek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pink hurts appeared on the compilation album “Snap Shots” released by Owl Records (SN901) in 1987. Each artist on the album supplied two tracks. Also on the album were Missing Link,<\/a> Soft Music Company<\/a>, O.T.T., Brainchild<\/a>, A Splash Of Red<\/a>, Rex & Dino.<\/a> All the tracks were taken from demo tapes by Pete McCluskey & Eddie Joyce, Pete & Eddie would go on to from Danceline Records. Pete McCluskey started his musical career playing his famous Flying V with the Navan Road band The Strougers<\/a>.
