From Waterford: Active; 1983 – 1984<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 1984 Passive Factor headline a local open Rock concert in the Peoples Park Waterford. Also on the bill are Force 10, The Village, Purple Haze, Damn Strange & Time In The Shade. The band have a twenty song original set, three of the tracks later appeared on the 051 compilation cd. The tracks were “Nostradamus”, “Suffer Little Children” & “The Peoples Song”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The band played the Ivy Rooms in Dublin as well as local venues such as the Norris Minor & Bridge Hotel. In March ’84 the band toured Ireland under the “Coming Up For Air”, there are also reports of a single release “Out Of The Windows”. They are known to have supported The Blades, Zerra 1<\/a> and Pulling Faces<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In December 1984 members of Passive Factor join forces with members of The Village to form The Free Thinking Fire Place for a charity gig. The concert is to help raise money for the children of the South Wales minors at Christmas. Also taking part are The Walk, Damn Strange and headliners The Flat Tops. July ’84 see the band in various recording studio’s in Ireland record songs and video’s, these sessions are funded by the Waterford base “Music Moves” movement.<\/p>\n\n\nCharity Concert<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
