One of the earliest was supporting Dublin band the Blades. Belsonic Sound were reported to combine the rock of the Doors with the reggae of the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Wailers_Band\">Wailers<\/a>.<br>In 1986 they took part in the St Patricks music festival at the Metropole Hotel. Other bands on the bill were Burning Mbers, Hot Guitars, Lee Tremblers, Hidden Fears.<br>Belsonic Sound also had support slots on the Irish tours of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Aswad\">Aswad<\/a>, Amazulu, Roots Jackson, Ezeke. This lead to Ezeke being quoted as saying &#8220;Never have I herd white men play reggae music so sweat&#8221;. He would also take the band to Montego Bay, Jamacia to record an album with him.
