Porcelyn Tears got their big break when they supported The Blade’s at the TV Club in Dublin. In the crowd were members of U2, B.P. Fallon & Dave Heffernan. Paul Thomas & Joe Herlihy offered their help with sound & Lighting for their next concert in Cork. At this time the girls still had their “Day Jobs”, two of them were doing well as fashion & photographic models. They made a video appearance on RTE’s “Anything Goes” & “TV Gaga”. The first demo tape they recorded was described in the press as “impressive”. The song were produced under the guidance of Driveshift<\/a>‘s Gerry Lane. 1985 was their most successful year with support slots with U2 & New Order on their Irish tour. Anne Redmond would later be in Chapter House<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n
